Woot is selling a brand new MiniDV camcorder for $134.99 shipped to your door. MiniDV is still the best recording medium as it is cheap, durable, lasts a long time, and you can buy tapes just about anywhere. Hard Disk based and flash based recorders require lots of storage or a laptop to clean them off, and that is a pain to drag along on vacation.
This model got good ratings at Amazon, and is just over $100 cheaper than Amazon.
