We have one and we love the HBO Go channel, and the Amazon streaming channel. The units also have a lot of the big and popular channels such as NetFlix, Pandora, YouTube, and Hulu Plus.

If you are leery of the fact that is the prior generation technology, you can get the current, second generation, hardware for $49.99. You can find that here. The one advantage the refurbished unit has over the new unit is an ethernet port. The XS 2, on sale for $90, is a also a worth while upgrade. It gives you a USB port so you can play anything on a USB stick on the Roku.
One other issue to note. If you are running your own DNS as we are, the unit will likely fail to connect when you fire it up. After I changed the dhcp server to use external DNS servers the unit worked great. I am sure there is a way to fix this issue but I have not looked into it.
