B&H has the Canon XS with two lenses on sale for $500 shipped to your door. The two lenses are both from Canon a 18-55IS and a 75-300. The camera is currently out of stock, but they are taking orders for this deal and shipping it in the future.
This camera is a 10MP camera that is basically a tweaked XTi. The XS has live view, the Digic III processor (allowing for better battery life), and auto ISO, which the XTi did not have.

The XSi is a slightly better camera, (3" LCD on the back, and spot metering), but for over $200 more to create this deal with the XSi I would say the XS is a better way to go and allows you to spend money on cases, memory cards, extra batteries, and all of the other accessories you will need for any digital camera.
